Grand Prairie is quietly becoming one of the most dynamic cities in North Texas, and the opening of a new two-story Topgolf at EpicCentral is another sign of momentum.

Situated just off SH-161 at 3670 South State Highway 161, this latest Topgolf location expands the brand’s footprint to five venues across Dallas–Fort Worth. With Texas already home to 15 Topgolf facilities, DFW continues to be a core market for the company.

What makes this Grand Prairie location stand out is its design and technology. The venue includes 80 climate-controlled hitting bays across two levels, blending recreation with comfort. Each bay is equipped for small groups, making it perfect for friends, families, and corporate teams.

Unlike traditional golf courses, Topgolf is built for accessibility. Beginners can use The Sure Thing club, and those who want to improve can book lessons through the Topgolf Coach program, led by an on-site director of instruction.

Beyond golf, the venue functions as a social hub. Guests can enjoy a full-service restaurant and bar, relax by fire pits, listen to music, and participate in year-round events. The private event space and rooftop terrace also make it an attractive location for parties, meetings, and celebrations.

City leadership sees this as more than just entertainment. Grand Prairie Mayor Ron Jensen highlighted that Topgolf strengthens the city’s broader entertainment ecosystem and will attract visitors from across the metroplex.

As part of the opening celebration, Topgolf is giving away a year of free gameplay. Any player who books and completes a one- or two-bay reservation before February 6 is automatically entered to win.

What this means for local real estate

From a housing perspective, amenities drive demand. When a major brand invests in a city, it often leads to increased interest from homebuyers, renters, and businesses. EpicCentral is evolving into a destination district, which benefits nearby neighborhoods, new developments, and long-term property appreciation.

Grand Prairie sits at a strategic crossroads between Dallas and Arlington, making it increasingly attractive to commuters, families, and young professionals. Projects like this reinforce the city’s appeal.
