My In-Studio Experience at Fox News: Real Talk and American Unity

Fnu Milat on The Will Cain Show on Fox News

I spent the afternoon of February 25, 2026, at the Fox News studio in Dallas. After watching the President’s State of the Union address on the 24th, I was invited to join the Will Cain Show to share my perspective alongside seven other panelists.

The preparation was a whirlwind. From the warm greeting at the door to the makeup chair and the technical setup for the mic and earpiece, the “behind the curtain” look at national news was fascinating. I had the chance to meet Will Cain several times throughout the process, and he was exceptionally kind and professional.

When we sat down in the studio, the instructions were simple: be yourself. There were no scripts and no pre-planned answers. We were given the floor to speak our minds, challenge one another, and engage in a real, raw conversation about the state of our nation.

What stood out to me wasn’t the political debate, but the atmosphere between us. Despite our panel representing the full spectrum of American politics—Democrat, Republican, and Independent—there was no hostility. We felt like one people. We realized that the division we see on our screens every day isn’t the reality of who we are when we sit down together. One of the Democrat panelists even commented on how refreshing it was to realize we aren’t the enemies the media makes us out to be.

I walked away from that studio with more than just a media appearance; I walked away with a renewed sense of pride in our shared American identity.
