Dallas has officially earned national attention in the wedding industry.

A new national study by WalletHub, reported by CultureMap Dallas ranked Dallas No. 13 among the best places to get married in 2026. The report evaluated 182 U.S. cities using key factors like wedding costs, venue availability, vendor services, and entertainment options.

For couples planning a 2026 wedding, Dallas is now firmly on the national radar.

A Strong Wedding Infrastructure in Dallas

The study shows Dallas ranks No. 16 nationwide for wedding facilities and services. That reflects the depth of the local vendor market, event planners, catering services, photographers, and hospitality professionals operating across North Texas.

The Knot reports nearly 700 wedding venues in Dallas alone. From Uptown ballrooms to historic venues, resort-style hotels, and outdoor garden spaces, the city offers a wide variety for different budgets and styles.

Dallas also placed No. 25 for attractions and activities, reinforcing its appeal as a destination wedding location.

Cost Comparison: Dallas vs. Other Major Cities

The average wedding cost in Dallas is approximately $33,000. In WalletHub’s affordability rankings, Dallas placed No. 66 out of 182 cities.

That ranking positions Dallas as more cost-effective than many high-profile wedding destinations such as Miami, Los Angeles, and other coastal metros.

Texas performed well overall. Austin and Houston ranked inside the top 10 nationally, while Fort Worth, Plano, and Arlington also made the broader list.

Why This Matters for the Dallas Housing Market

Wedding rankings may seem unrelated to real estate at first glance. They are not.

A city that attracts weddings attracts visitors, venue investment, hospitality expansion, and long-term relocation. These factors contribute to economic strength and housing demand.

Dallas continues to show balanced growth across tourism, business, and residential real estate. That stability matters for homeowners and investors watching the 2026 market.

As a Dallas Realtor, I see this as another signal of the city’s ongoing national relevance and economic durability.
